Well done to the students who participated in the Rippa Rugby Tournament at Alpine Energy Stadium on Wednesday 19th of May.

The Bluestone Rippa Rugby team competed in the annual tournament against 32 schools from around South Canterbury.  We started the day with a great win against St Josephs Timaru 7/3, Ofa 3 tries, Leo 2 tries, Armani 1 and Packard 1.  Player of the game was Ofa.

The next game was a nail biter again the Woodbury Wombles, Bluestone tried really hard in the 4/5 loss, Leo scoring 3 tries and Ryan 1, player of the game was Leo and Jackson. 

Next up was Mackenzie and this time we had a victory 6/3 tries to Leo 3, Ryan 2 and Ofa 1, player of the game was Ryan.

We finished 2nd in the pool and had a play off game against another Woodbury team, a great close game we were again successful winning 3/0 Leo scoring all 3 and also getting player of the game.

The students participated to the best of their ability and had a great time developing their skills and making the most of the opportunity.
