New Entrant Art
Room 3 are learning about the medium of painting for Art this term and created some new masterpieces for our classroom.
Room 3 explored different ways to create art using acrylic paints and a scraper. Taking advantage of the fluidity of acrylic paints, the children used the scraper to create lines and curves on their pieces of paper. Inspired by the artist Amber Vittoria, some children used the shapes and curves of rainbows to create their art, while others were dictated by where the scraper went. The children were amazed by the simple lines and the effect left after the paint was scraped off the paper.
