Room Ten is creating some amazing Tapa designs in preparation for printmaking. 

Our print patterns are all based on Nature with a South Canterbury twist. 

We began with detailed observational leaf drawings, then 

We used patterns from our local beach (Caroline Bay) such as stones, waves or sand patterns. All the patterns in tapa are derived from nature.

Next we will transfer our designs onto print blocks and create our own prints.
