There is a hive of creative activity happening in the 'Creative Creatures'...

The 'Creative Creatures' have been busy little bees, preparing lots of beautiful artwork for Bluestone's Art Exhibition in the first week of term 4.

Rooms 3, 4, 5 and 5a have had a very busy time over the last few weeks of this term, drawing, painting, printing, dying, cutting and glueing to create lots of amazing masterpieces for Bluestone's 2020 Art Exhibition which will be happening in the first week of term 4.

In room 5a, we have created a 'bee awareness month' inspired beehive. Each student printed their own honeycomb shaped artwork using bubblewrap and brightly coloured yellow, orange and red paint. They then pressed the painted bubblewrap onto paper to create their own piece of the hive. They then carefully drew their bees, outlined them with permanent marker and coloured them yellow and black pastels. The hive looked really effective when all the prints were put together.

Some of the classes have completed portraits, spring inspired pieces of art and some have carried on with our term 3 fabric and fibre focus.

I think you'll all agree that there are some very talented artists in the Creative Creatures, but most importantly, we have been having lots of fun!

Ka pai everyone!
