"Belonging about Breens is about making a positive difference to the school community and also the wider community around us."

Congratulations to Katie from Hereora (pictured above). We are so proud of Katie's initiative and compassion. Katie designed some badges following the events of the 15 March and sold these for a gold coin to raise funds (more than $188) for the local muslim community.     

The students of Breens also demonstrated their gratitude to some of the first responders and visited the Mosque and Remembrance wall to pay their respect to the victims and their families. 

Zohe Burton designed a Breens licence task which was about spending 10 hours quality time with a family member and then demonstrating gratitude towards others.  Her beautiful wee hand-crafted gifts to teachers (pictured below)  were so appreciated as the end of the term!
