Maths problem:
Can it be solved without using physically stacked cubes?
This term across Breens children have been studying GEOMETRY. This has involved looking at properties of shapes, including spatial features.
Children have been looking at 2D and 3D shapes, Nets, Angles and using coordinates. The biggest challenge for many has been to recognise patterns and shapes when viewing from different angles. For the above problem, many used blocks to stack, and then view each side, including the front and top projections.
