The term ahead
We feel very grateful to still be in a position in the current climate to have our school site for learning this term. With the recent news of COVID in Canterbury we want to assure you that we are carefully following the Alert Level Two advice from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education. It is safe to be at school at Alert Level Two.
Please keep an eye on the places of interest website and follow the advice from the Ministry of Health.
The production rehearsals for "Battle of the Bands" are in full swing and we are looking forward to performance week. It is fast approaching!
Under level two there are still some challenges with running some of traditional end of year events. We are doing our vey best to ensure that these events can still happen in some form, especially for our leavers. There will be more information to follow in the next few weeks about final term four events. Please keep an eye on those regular communications from teachers.
You will be well aware of the recent health order and the implications for those adults who work in school settings. I would like to assure you that we are well on track for all our staff meeting those vaccination requirements for teachers. For those of you who are seeking more information about COVID vaccinations I have attached a recent communication from the national Ministry of Education office.

Two large groups of adventurous bikers have completed the Little River Rail Trail over the last two weeks. A brilliant achievement. Our thanks to those adults who were able to help with this event. (Photos below from Debbie McGrath)
Touch Rugby @ Nunweek
After some clever organisation from the convenors, the local touch rugby module has been able to start on Tuesday nights. Thank you to Jess Dear, Courteney Curry and Dylan Brydon for their coaching and management of our teams.
