Te Puna Auaha

Nikki Clarke —

The new specialist spaces (Te Puna Auaha) are looking fantastic and are well on track for completion before the end of this year.      This building will house an art room, science lab, food technology spaces, design room, digital technology room and workshop.   A spray booth, laser cutting, 3 d printing and breakout learning areas complement these spaces.

The internal work is near completion with some finishing touches to joinery and flooring still to finish.   Work is now turning to the  decking and landscaping.

Asbestos removal and demolition of the existing technology building will take place after the 14 December.    We will then have some exciting outdoor areas to design and hope that the children will be keen to contribute their ideas towards these new outdoor spaces.

Thank you to the Ministry of Education property team,  PXA Architects, Turner Townsend Consultants and Hann Construction for their collaboration with us on this exciting project.
