Gamefroot Coding Competition - Rubber Duck Awards
The Gamefroot Coding Competition - Rubber Duck Awards has their judging 2 weeks ago.
7 students in the Breens Intermediate School code club entered the competition.
We had to use the Gamefroot program to make platformer game based on the Te Ao Māori value Kaitiakitanga - Guardianship.
Each game had to include:
-at least one level
-a start screen and a game-over screen.
-a mihi
Our school did well and students received certificates and goodie boxes for their efforts.
Special congratulations to Lily Adams as she won a special prize for her coding of Native Wildlife: Kea. Lily has won a prize of a $200 voucher. Fantastic effort Lily.
Our students are looking forward to entering this competition next year and improving on our platformer games.
