On Wednesday the 23 of June, 20 students went to the Halswell Quarry to represent Breens in the Canterbury Cross Country competition.

Primary Schools Cross Country

The track was three kilometres long and a challenge to everyone. It was quite muddy and wet but everyone still tried their best.  All students had a lot of fun and we showed our Breens values.

First the year 7 girls ran followed by the year 7 boys, then the year 8 girls and lastly the year 8 boys. Everyone did incredibly well, but we are very proud of Monty who came 28th overall in year 7 boys. It was a great day and a well run event.
