Learning in Science is fundamental to understanding the world we live in. At Breens we believe the development of science skills, attitudes and knowledge are vital to meet the challenges and opportunities of the technology-based future.

Breens is fortunate to have a dedicated new Science learning area!

The programme stimulates curiosity, confidence and enthusiasm through “hands on” activities and develops science skills and knowledge in a range of contexts.

Extension opportunities include a weekly Science Club, participation in the Canterbury Science and Technology Fair and the ICAS Science competition.  Interested students are also encouraged to complete Science badges.
