Our head leadership team of 2018 consists of Nicholas Murphy as Head Boy, Billie Nuku as Head Girl, Thomas Langdon as Deputy Head Boy and Ash Loper as Deputy Head Girl. We shall now introduce you to some of the team ...
Nicholas Murphy: Kia Ora My name is Nicholas Murphy, but most people call me Nick and I am very excited to lead this school as Head Boy and hope to make Breens a fun experience for all of you. I enjoy most sports, but my favourites are cricket and football. I also like to draw and I am open to learn new things.
Billie Nuku: Hello my name is Billie and I am proud to be the Head Girl for 2018. I like to play sports but mostly netball. I am very musical. I love to sing and I especially love to talk. I like to interact with others so you should definitely come and talk with me.
Thomas Langdon: Hi there, My name is Thomas Langdon and I am proud to be Deputy Head Boy this year. My name is Thomas but you can call me Tom for short. I enjoy playing sport such as cricket and football. My hobbies are building, coding and hanging with my mates. I am a very open person and am willing to have a chat to anyone.
Ash Loper: Hi I'm Ash and I am this years proud Deputy Head Girl. I enjoy playing touch and cricket. I also like mathematics. I like setting challenging goals to achieve such as getting all ten badges. I am very approachable and would love it if you wanted to ask me questions or just talk to me in general.
Kymani Hanara-Tuite: Kia ora, my name is Kymani. I enjoy sport, I like the outdoors and I love playing Fortnite on my Xbox. I like spending time with my whānau and I am very happy to be a Kaiārahi Maori leader for 2018.
Lucas Tomlinson: Kia ora I am Lucas. I am happy to be one of the four Kaiārahi Maori leaders this year. I like rugby and Fortnite. I enjoy hanging with mates and I like reading. I am very open and would love to have a chat with you guys.
Riley: Kia ora, I'm Riley, and I am happy to be a 2018 Kaiarahi Maori leader. I enjoy horse riding, water polo, hip hop and swimming. I like reading and my goals this year are to get ten Breens badges and be the best leader I can be. I am around to have a chat if anyone wants to!
Anna Scullion: Kia ora I'm Anna Scullion. I enjoy playing sports such as hockey volleyball and dance. I like photography and I am a fine baker. I am proud to be a Kaiārahi Maori leader and I am happy to have a chat with all of you.
Connor Stewart: Hello my name is Connor Stewart and I am excited to be sports leader for 2018. I enjoy playing a variety of sports including cricket, cross country, athletics, tennis and rugby. I also enjoy swimming. I strive to succeed with my goals. I am very approachable and would love to meet new people.
Jacob Frost: Hello I'm Jacob Frost, but most people call me Jake and I am grateful to be one of this years sports leaders. I enjoy playing cricket, rugby and basketball. I also like to play the bass guitar. I am very approachable and would love to have a chat with all of you.
Vino: Hi my name is Vino and I am a sports leader for 2018. I enjoy playing touch,rugby, netball, and basketball. I love to sing and dance. I hope to achieve all ten badges and I hope to make new friends aswell.
Ema: Hi my name is Ema and I am one of the sports leaders of 2018. I play touch and netball and I love running. I also like swimming, singing and playing musical instruments. I achieved five badges last year and I hope to get more this year.
Shikana: Kia ora. I am Shikana and I am one of the Māori sports leaders for this year. I love sports, hanging with friends, family and I love to help out where I can. You can come to help whenever you need it. I would like to meet all of you this year! I am looking forward to working with all of you and I am proud to be part of the student leadership team in 2018.
Tyrell: Kia ora my name is Tyrell and I am one of the Māori sports leaders for this year. I play representative rugby league for Canterbury, have been chosen to be in the South Island rugby league squad and I have also been selected for the Canterbury Māori rugby league team. I am hoping to be a strong leader in our school in 2018.
We are all very proud and feel privileged to be part of the leadership team for 2018. We are also very approachable and would love to have a chat with anyone around the school!
