On Monday the 12th of August, Liam , Isaac, Ian and Jayden attended Cobham Intermediate to compete in an engineering competition called the EPro8 Challenge.

There were twelve teams competing head to head working on challenges such as building a 2.5 meter tower out of steel rods, making an elevator, a giant rat wheel that generates power and some math challenges. Isaac said: "The most difficult but fun challenge was building the frame of a building that was 2 metres high with four different stories off the ground. It was really fun and involved putting a lot of pieces together, and we worked well as a team on that challenge."  Our team placed sixth out of 12 with (around) 250 points. Overall it was a great experience and we wish to do it again next time.
