Samoan language week
This article is about the Samoan language week at Breens!
Last week was Samoan language week.
On Monday we completed a colouring in competition. It was very creative we decided the winners and that we would announce them on Thursday. On Tuesday and Wednesday we were making the Ule Lole for the teachers. We also ate lollies while we made long necklaces and short ones. We made ones with red, gold and silver for the winners of the colouring in competition.
We also played Kirikiti during the week. It was a fun and exciting game and we had some great competition in the game because some of the batters and bowlers were too good and we couldn't get them out!
On Friday when the team leaders were reading their notices we handed out the Ule Lole/lolly necklaces to the teachers. They were very grateful and thankful for the lolly necklaces! We also made some videos through out the week and learned some Samoan sayings.
