Miss Wilkinson is the photography teacher for Hīrere in the Friday afternoon SPIN group. 

She has taught us about a lot of different things about photography. Miss Wilkinson has taught us all about lighting and how it affects our photos that we take and how to enhance it and make it look better. We also learned to arrange the photo in a way that makes it look really good by using the rule of thirds. 

We had to take a whākatauki and then centre our photos around this and think of how we could show the quote in a visual way. We have also been learning how to use different types of perspectives and using different focuses to enhance our photos. We have liked editing the photos and are proud of the work we have done.
