On Friday 26 August we filled up two buses with Breens students and  went to Mount Hutt for the day. We had a brilliant day on the slopes!

The day started with all of us attending lessons for two hours and then once we were done we had the freedom to ski for the rest of the day! Some of the kids went behind the learners slope and some created a small jump made with snow and we all went and gave it our best shot! Some were successful…some fell but then gave it another shot. Everyone at that point had shown bravery by actually giving it go!

We all had a great time and laughed a lot! We all learned new skills in our lessons! Even though we had pretty unfortunate weather that day it was still fun and all of the students had a cool experience! We’d like to thank all the parents and teachers for putting in the hard mahi to make this happen this year!
