Here is the latest news form our PSG group and take some time to read their news about upcoming events & fundraising.

In term 1 we said farewell to many of our PSG members and office bearers.

We would like to say thank you to our past Chairperson Lee Richards, Treasurer – Lisa Ewans, Secretary – Tracey Freeborn and PSG members Karen Kingsbury, Susanne Ziswiler, Helen Davey and Sandra Owens.  Thank you ladies for your support of our school.

Our Breens PSG for 2017 is Chairperson – Sally McMorran, Secretary – Dianne Byrne, Treasurer – Michelle Eder and members Vasiti Baleilomaloma,  Lara Williams,  Frances Thomas,  Karen Cason, Ann Paterson, staff rep & Jill Reid.

We meet usually on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the staff room, if you are interested in supporting the students and the Breens community you are most welcome to come along – we would love to see some Dads getting involved too!

A few dates to note on the calendar …..

6 June, Tuesday 7pm – Next PSG meeting, school staff room.

11 June, Sunday 10am – 11am – Working Bee – The grounds will be due for an Autumn clean up with a bit of chopping back needed round the paths etc – PSG will be there to warm you up with a hot cuppa and a biscuit! Postponement date 18 June.

June - Dance Party, a Flame reunion! More details and date to come….YAY!

Please keep up with the Entertainment Book sales – remember $13 of each sale comes to the school. These sales are going towards new Kapa Haka uniforms.

We are looking at holding a second hand uniform sale soon and need you to have a try on and bring into the office any uniforms you no longer need. Just think it’s a great way to declutter! Sale date to be confirmed. If you ever need anything Jill Reid is our PSG uniform co-ordinator and you can contact her on jill.reid@breens.school.nz

And lastly …. keep an eye out for the new Kapa Haka uniforms the PSG have funded for the boys – it’s is fantastic to have such a huge group representing Breens Intermediate!
