Drone versus Seagulls

Nikki Clarke —

For a licence task Mrs M said I could take photos of Breens Intermediate with my drone.

On Monday I brought my drone into school.  Mrs M was super excited to see my drone.

In class time I had to do some research about taking it up in school because we are pretty close to the airport.  I thought we had to be 5km from the airport to fly my drone.  I searched up this and apparently this is only in America so I thought it would be all good.  Mrs M still wanted to call the airport to make sure it will be okay to fly it in school.

It turned out I had to book a flight to fly my drone and I never knew this.  Mrs M and I went on the website the airport told us to go on and we had to fill out lots of details about my drone.  After lunch Mr M and I went out to the blue courts and took up my drone.  Mr M was very amazed to see my drone and Mrs M took heaps of photos of the school.   It was all going well until seagulls came and tried to attack it.  One by one they came all trying to hit my drone!  I didn’t really like this so I decided to bring my drone back in.

I brought it down and Mr and Mrs M said "thank you for bringing it into school.  It was very cool.".

I was very happy about the result!
