Basketball Brilliance at Breens!
It has been another successful year for our Breens Basketball Teams!
We again entered 6 teams in the Bishopdale YMCA competition this year! It was a 12 week competition spread over Term 2 and 3 and we had close to 60 students playing this year which is just awesome!! All teams improved greatly over the season and a lot of fun was had.
This year our Breens Breakers won the 2nd grade division and the Breens Bullets won the 3rd grade division. Amazing effort!!!
Thanks to all players who turned up to training every week and all the extra hours you put in during lunch time and before school - it certainly paid off! A huge thanks to James Weaver and Steve Cooke who helped coach all the teams this year - it was a real team effort.
