Celebrating Student Success
We love celebrating the achievements of our students, both at school and outside of school.
Evan Byrne recently earned a further two gold medals to add to his large collection. This was at the National Gymnastic competition in Nelson in the October holidays.
Jack Rump recently competed in the Christchurch primary and secondary school age karate championships. This was his first time entering in a competition and he placed 2nd in his section - gaining the silver medal (see his beautiful medal below)
Isabella Walters, Vino Fosita and Paige Eder took part in the Canterbury Basketball Development tournament over the holidays. All the girls ended up in the finals with Paige's team taking out first place.
Matthew Langdon and Bella Hopkins auditioned and were selected earlier in the year to be members of the Senior Choir for the Christchurch Schools Music Festival. They were busy in the holidays taking part in a three day intensive music programme in preparation for the festival.
Jack Rump who competed in the recent South Island Karate championships held in Christchurch during the holidays. Jack achieved a 2nd place in the KATA Boys Yr 7 - 8 Intermediate grade.
