Music is an important part of life at Breens. Students are encouraged to follow their interests and be part of our varied music programme.

We focus on developing excellence in music and encourage our students to perform in front of their peers and our school community during the academic year.  

Flute, Violin, Saxophone, Trumpet and Clarinet

Our classical itinerant music teachers are very experienced teachers and musicians. Instruments are available for hire from the school.

Drums, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Keyboard

We are fortunate to have excellent private music teachers who offer lessons to our students here at school in keyboard, percussion, guitar, ukulele and bass guitar. The fees for these lessons are very competitive and vary depending on whether you wish your child to have an individual or group lesson. We forward your details to these teachers who make direct contact with you regarding these lessons as they operate as private professional music teachers.

Choir, Chorale, Singing Lessons and Orchestra

We have a dynamic choir and orchestra.  Our choir and orchestra are both led by Maggie Alley,  an experienced and highly regarded music teacher.
