Welcome to Auaha, our place of creativity and the heart of our specialist technology programme!

The underpinning philosophy of the technology curriculum is to the give students the tools to problem solve and become responsible citizens in an increasingly changing society.

At Breens the curriculum is delivered through four specialist areas in new specialist teaching spaces, Foods, Digi- Tech, Design, and Workshop. Students are able to build up a bank of skills they can then utilise to solve a “brief” (statement of the need or opportunity they are investigating).

The specialist Technology team work together to develop programmes that are relevant and have meaning to the students.

Consequently, there is high engagement from the students as they follow through their own design process and create something unique that has meaning to them.
