Kia ora & thank you to Papanui High Kapa Haka Group for visiting our school.

Kia ora Whānau,

Last week the Breens Intermediate kapa haka group were treated to an extra special event. The Papanui High School kapa haka group came to perform their dress rehearsal to us before they competed at regionals the following Saturday. It was so amazing to see plenty of ex Breens students stand for this group, and they did an amazing job! There was so much movement as part of their performance and their singing was perfect too! This was a great opportunity for our kids that are going to Papanui to see the group that they could end up being involved with. A huge thanks goes out to Matua Norm and the other people who made this special event possible. We hope to see more like this in the  future.
