Breens Challenge - Adrenaline Forest
On Friday 17th of March, all the year 8s in the Breens Challenge Award went to Adrenaline Forest for the day. We were all so excited when we started to enter the buses, and when we finally got there, we were all buzzing with excitement.
When we arrived we had a briefing on how to climb the trees and how to stay safe. We all had to start on the lowest level and then from there we worked our way through the levels. Some of the levels were really high with a lot of different obstacles to navigate, like barrels, swinging logs, rope swings and flying foxes.
The part that challenged a few of us the most was trying to keep our cool when we were up high in a tree that was shaking drastically (when the wind got stronger). When I asked people what their favourite part was, the most common answer was 5b, which was mostly ziplines.
Everyone had a great day climbing the trees, before we went back to school, we went to the Spencer Park playground and mucked around. It was a great way to finish the day.
