On Monday 11th March we had our annual visit from the Duffy Theatre Show. This years show was called Stuck in the Game and told the story of Duffy getting accidently drawn inside a PS2 game called Magic Bricks and having to work out how to get out. 

While inside he meets the Dismantler and The Puzzler who both make things a little more difficult for him. Fortunately being able to read a handbook about the game helps Duffy escape. 

The show had a lot of enthusiastic participation from the audience and all seemed to really enjoy the high energy performance. Each year’s show is designed to promote reading and highlight why reading is important in life. This years one was no exception! We are grateful for our participation in the Duffy programme. 

The programme is subsidised this year for us by Warehouse Stationery and provides each of our students with six new picture or chapter books a year and extra books for other awards and our library. There is always great excitement when its Duffy Book time each term!
