Report by Salevalasi and Rose

On the 21st of March in Cyprus Gardens, we had our Triathlon and Duathlon! This involved Year 4s, the Year 5s and the Year 6s who signed up. Some of us used bikes, our own legs and swimming togs to try to get first place and have fun.

The duathlon was first for the Year 4s. They did a bike and a run. After that was the triathlon for Years 5 and 6. Their first event was biking, their second event was swimming and the last event was running. 

It was really challenging because in a team we all had to do something to help. I (Rose) felt scared because I thought that I was not going to win, but I got second place! I (Salevalasi) felt really encouraged because my best friend Areeah A was cheering me on and eventually I got 4th place.

Thank you Cathy Baker for setting everything up for us and doing everything in your power to be nice and helpful and also thanks for letting some of our friends use the school bikes!
