"When I Grow Up"

This term for the Moa inquiry we have been looking into career studies and learning about the different careers that are out there - and finally figuring out what it is that our parents do for a job!

We have taken part in four "industry" weeks; health industry, creatives industry, science industry and trades industry to try out different activities that could be part of those career choices.  

We have also had lots of our Moa parents come in to share about the work that they do.  Such a huge variety for our kids to be exposed to. 

Thank you so much to ALL of the parents who have cut their teeth on public speaking to a group of 100 pre-teens, and who have given us food for thought about their careers as well as all of the activities that have been planned for the kids.

Our next phase is for our students to choose their career path and put together their display for our careers expo at the end of the term.
