From the Principal-19 September 2023
We are looking forward to celebrating our 140 years with you and do hope you come along to see our Art Exhibition today.
It has been a wonderful term of learning and we are so impressed with the art our tamariki have produced. Our classrooms are open today until 6pm. We encourage you to come along to see our art and connect with others from our community.
AIMS Games
Earlier in September our year 8 netball team competed in the AIMS Games in Tauranga. They came a very impressive 22nd out of 144 teams, such a wonderful effort! Congratulations to all those who were involved and thank you to the parents who help coach and support the Cobras along the way. We enjoyed seeing the sign on the front gate last week "Home of the Cobras." What an amazing experience they had.
Planning for 2024
We are starting to plan for 2024 and we would really appreciate it if you could contact Fee in the office if you have or know of any tamariki who are going to turn 5 next year.
140 Celebrations
We would like to thank Jenn McEwan (Capture Studios) and Virginia Gow for helping design the wonderful timeline commemorating Brooklyn School's past 140 years. This is a marvelous taonga for us to have and we thank them so much for this.
