Congratulations to our Lit Quizzers from Takahē and Moa

This year we sent two teams out to compete in Lit Quiz at Wellesley School. Each team is made up of 4 students and Brooklyn School was able to register a team from Takahē and Moa.

Lit Quiz involves knowing a range of stories, genres, fairy tales, authors and language devices to be able to answer quiz based questions.

The two teams have been reading widely and have been practicing their quizzing all term.

Our Moa students; Toby, Ianto, Quincy and Zayen did a fantastic job and finished 17th out of 51 teams!

Our Takahē students; Rufus, Juno, Zoe and Myra did incredibly well and ended up coming FIRST for year 5 & 6!!

What an outstanding accomplishment. We are all very proud of our Lit Quizzers and hope they enjoyed their day out.
