Term 1 Week 6 in Mataī & Nīkau

McKenzey Hobson —

Read on to find out more about Week 5 in Mataī and Nīkau class.

What a great week we just had! The students were amazing at swimming sports and there were some great results. We have the Kowai Swimming sports on Monday afternoon and the Maukatere trip this Friday so it's going to be another goodie.

Also, Mckenzey has Covid so he will not be at school this week. Relievers have been sorted for his classroom so the students should expect a slight change in routine.

Home Learning

Home learning was sent home this week. It is due on Tuesday morning for marking.

A reminder that Mrs McKenzie will run a maths club each week (Thursday/Friday) lunchtime for any students who would like support with their home learning.

Optional: Complete activities from the Broomfield School ABCS Challenge!

Maukatere Walk

On the 10th of March, students will be walking up Maukatere. We still need some helpers to support the seniors in their walk to the summit. If you can be a helper, please contact Jo@broomfield.school.nz

Other notes:

- The weather will be hot this term so please ensure your child has a school hat. This is important because we are a SunSmart School and have high expectations for staying safe outside.
