Andrew Kemp —

Tena koutou e ngā whānau o te kura.

A nui thank you to Ms. Dickson for organising yesterday's fantastic 2025 Senior School Triathlon! It was a brilliant event enjoyed by all participants and spectators. We also extend our sincere gratitude to all the parents who volunteered their time to marshal the course - your help was invaluable and greatly appreciated. Congratulations to all our students who participated and gave their best. A special shout-out to our place getters who have earned a spot in the Kowai Triathlon next week. We wish you all the best in the upcoming competition!

Looking ahead, next Tuesday, we will be holding our ‘Whānau Connect’ meetings. Teachers are looking forward to catching up with you to ascertain and discover important information about your child/ren that will help in their future learning journey at Broomfield School. The scheduled meetings are quickfire 10 minute conferences to be held in your child’s classroom.

Now that we are fully back into the daily and weekly routines of school for the year, please take care when dropping off your child/ren and picking them up after school. We are noticing a number of preschoolers' wandering around the car park unattended which is a very dangerous environment. Those who arrive early if possible should reverse into the carparks and we encourage you to use the gates next to our school office when and where possible. Thank you for helping us to keep our tamariki safe!

A reminder, our bus numbers on all bus routes are now at capacity so we are unable to make random daily changes for after school visits/birthdays etc. and alternative transport arrangements will need to be made for these. Thank you for your understanding.

Have a wonderful Waitangi Day weekend with your family and friends everyone!

Ahiahi pai
