Art from Rimu, inspired by the work of Peter Gossage.

In the story 'How Maui Found His Father' Maui turned into a kererū to hide in the forest while spying on his mother. We loved the kererū artwork in Peter Gossage's book so much, we decided to create our own. First, we drew the kereru body, then using pastels we blended colour to create these amazing birds. Lastly, we painted the background in forest green paint.
