Last Sunday, a group of year 7 and 8 students traveled to Sefton school to compete in the annual Sefton Tug of War.

The event went on for the whole day, with raffle tickets, food, and a bunch of modified bikes for the children. 

The 1st place prize for the adults was $1000 to share between the team of 8-10 and $300 for the kids. The whole point behind the day was to raise money for the school and new resources for their classrooms. Our school team went well, winning a couple of tugs, but the winners were Tua-Hiwi school, with Sefton in 2nd.
