Hi, I'm Anneka Cumming,
My husband Paul and I have 3 girls Lucy, Sophie and Millie. We moved to the south island 12 years ago and love it here. Together Paul and I run our company Grout and Rock NZ Ltd which keeps us very busy. In my spare time, I run around chauffeuring my girls to sports and after-school activities. I am also one of the junior coordinators for the Amberley Netball Club.
I am looking forward to my role as treasurer and parent representative for the BOT.
Let's all continue to grow our school together.
Kia ora,
I am Wayne Youle. I was born in Wellington in 74. Moved South nearly 20 Years ago and in that time have had a trio of boys with me partner (and celebrity caretaker). I have had a number of jobs over the years, however, ART is my passion, my distraction... my "job".
I am excited and proud to be a board member at Te Kura Onepunga, I look forward to seeing the school evolve with mana and grow strength in all facets of education, student involvement and individual milestones reached.
My name is Liz Atkins. My partner Jared & I have daughter's at Broomfield School, Grace in year 4 and Hazel in year 1.
I am an active member of the Bees and I am also on the Committee for Amberley Community Preschool & Prep School.
I have worked for 18 years in Local Government where I have held various positions in Customer Service, Property & Planning.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and escaping to the hills biking or hiking.
It is a privilege to be able to represent the school community on the board.
Hi, I'm Neil Hammond. My wife Rebecca and I and our girls Jerrica and Jemima currently live in the school house. We've lived in the region since July 2020.
Jerrica is currently in Matai year 6, and Jemima is in Kowhai year 2. You might see us out walking on the weekends down Onepunga Rd, or at swim club during the summer.
I currently work in sales and account management, and have a background in project/operations management.
My name is Nic Roberts,
My partner, Doug and I live on a lifestyle block in Broomfield, together we have Stella (ex-Broomfield) in Yr 11 at high school and Kane currently attending in Yr 4.
When I’m not caught up in daily tasks, I enjoy unwinding with whānau, gardening and pursuing my passion of water sports, getting out or in the water when time and weather permits.
Having been a part of the Broomfield School Te Kura Onepunga community since 2016, I am honoured to represent the voices of Broomfield School Te Kura Onepunga’s parents and caregivers on the Board of Trustees, and continuing to support our kura as we navigate challenges and celebrate successes together; ensuring our tamariki thrive.
I am Jane Croft, the current Staff Representative for the Board of Trustees (BOT) at Broomfield School.
I have established a strong and consistent presence within the school, having been a member of the teaching staff, off and on, since the year 2000. Broomfield School was my first appointment following the completion of my Teaching and Learning degree. I take great pride in my connection to Broomfield and am privileged to be a part of such a wonderful community and supportive staff.
For the past ten years, I have been working in a job-sharing capacity in Tawa class (New Entrants/Year 1), where I currently am teaching three days a week. The remaining two working days I work with my husband, Leighton on our family farm in Omihi.
