Students return enthusiastic and ready to learn!

Kelly Slater-Brown —

We've enjoyed hearing holiday stories at the gate.

Kia Ora, Nǐ hǎo, Hallo, Greetings,

Welcome to our new families and children.

It has been fabulous to hear from the children about the range of activities they have been up to over the break. Just getting out and doing things together helps so much in normalising the essence of what it is to be a kid, a family and just being human. Just enjoying those special moments with you. Well done for investing in what’s important.  As we say at school, we can see our children have returned with "full buckets"!

Our school feels in a good place to start the term. We have good people doing great things, we have children at the centre of our decision making and we have some really powerful curriculum and programming initiatives coming through. We have a great leadership team, we have solid and progressive systems and processes, we have staff influencing education beyond our school and we have staff bringing colour and opportunities for our children.

I can think of no better time to put your hand up to be part of our school. We have school board elections coming up and nominations closing next Friday the 12th at midday. Please consider putting your hand up to add to what we are doing and where we are going.  See Kieran's words of board wisdom below.

Have a great weekend.

Kelly
