Howick Historical Village - School Holiday Art Program

The students will do watercolor painting, poster painting, acrylic painting, drawing , oil pastel drawing, sketching, charcoal drawing, painting techniques, hand-sewing Christmas stockings, make and design Christmas tree decorations, face painting 

Option 1 is full day : 

9.00 am—10.00 am (paper cut, origami, beaded bracelet, make and design Christmas tree decorations) or freestyle drawing, face painting 

10.00 am—12.00 pm art. 

12 pm—1.00 pm lunch, games, and play. 

1.00 pm—3.00 pm art 

3. 15 pm—3. 40 pm tidy up the tables, games, or play 

3. 40--3.45 pick up time 

Option 2 is 2 hours session: 

10.00 am--12pm art  

1.00 pm ---3.00pm art 

Dates: 

2024 December:  18th Wednesday, 19th Thursday, 20th Friday

2025 January :  14th Tuesday ,15th Wednesday, 16th Thursday

December 2024:

18th - Easy watercolor painting ( painting farm animals) and drawing. If nice day, we will do painting or drawing of the beautiful village.

19th - Acrylic painting (please bring a smaller than A3 size canvas) 

 20th - Draw or painting a picture of Christmas (the best one in the class will have a prize), hand-sewing Christmas stockings ( for age 7 + )

January 2025:

14th - pencil, charcoal , oil pastels portrait drawing and poster painting

15th - ink drawing with light watercolour wash, poster painting techniques, creative art 

16th - Acrylic painting on the kite,  and make it. Drawing 

Time and Fee:

Full day:

9.00 am—3.45 pm $ 50 including most of the material (paint and paper, watercolor paper, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, Kite) 

2 hours classes: 

1) 10.00 am —12.00 pm   $30 including most of the material (paint and paper, watercolor paper, watercolor paint, acrylic paint...) 

2) 1.00 pm--3.00 pm   $30 including most of the material (paint and paper, watercolor paper, watercolor paint, acrylic paint...)
