From March 3- May 9 the Moth Plant Competition is on.

If you are interested in helping reduce the numbers of this invasive plant we encourage you to join the facebook group "PFHW Moth Plant Pod Competition" where they will be posting lots of updates. Stay tuned and help our school win prizes.

This year the whole school can participate in the moth plant competition. All our students can be moth plant competition heroes and maybe even winners.

Many students love learning through taking hands on action outside.

Sadly Auckland is the weediest city in the world! Helping  stop the spread of pest plants is a fun activity. Last year they enjoyed finding moth plants growing at school and having me remove them.

Each moth plant seedling equals one moth plant pod... encourage students to collect tiny seedlings!!!
