Room 19 take 3
Using the model The town was usual enough by James K Baxter Room 19 authors have shared their Camp experience.
Camp At Ngaruawahia
The camp was surprising enough! It had a whole entire lake, a flying fox, a vast pond , a gigantic tall rock climbing wall that I enjoyed, and a sizable dining room to eat delicious food. My new friends and I did what campers do. Staying up all night whispering, making puppet shows with bright torches , hearing spooky scary annoying knocking on doors, walking to the fresh waterfall in the forest, screaming out feelings in the forest window.
Feeling Excited, nervous and terrified but amazed.

The camp was unusual enough, it had
A lake, a flying fox, a pool, and a climbing wall
That was cool, and even a small cosy chapel
We all went to. My classmates, the teachers and I
Did what everyone else did-slide down the slippery
Mudslide, go down the flying fox, swim in the freezing pool, kayak on the quiet and calm lake, climb up the intense climbing wall, dashed through the tall trees and bushes, clearing the team building like it was nothing, cooking delicious dampers, getting clean bullseyes, building strong rafts
Doing all this for good fun.

The camp was usual enough, it had
A lake a chef, a land, a tub
A pool to swim, and even a waterslide
That was fun. My friends, my classmates and I
Did what everyone did-eat in the
Schoolroom, made arrows and walks, drifting the mad trees, crept like falling trees through the water
Torch -on with the lights on
Burn dry smells, fighting and dashing
Doing good things night by night

People fell on the bush walk
People jumped off the paddock in kayaking
People swung across the lake in flying fox
People made damper in camp cooking
People worked together in team building
People got bullseye in archery
People got to the top in climbing wall
Doing everything in excitement

Camp was usual enough ; it had a couple of cabins, a dining room , a pool , a massive lake, and even a lot of mountains I’ve not been to . My cabin mates, friends, and I did what people do hot Kayaking with a paddle , shooting the arrow to hit the target , walking through the great artifacts of the mountains , eating the delicious food made by 5 star chefs , building a raft to search for the treasure, cooking dampa to eat and zipping across the lake.
Doing nothing important

Camp Ngaruawahia
The camp was usual enough, it had a lake, a flying fox, rock climbing and kayaking, a bush walk, camp cooking and eating!
Over it, buildings with cabins to rest and sleep in. I never made noise during the night.
I did what boys do, played UNO beside the window and under the night light, ate salty marmite and sweet honey.
I climbed the rock climbing wall like a monkey and jumped from the kayak into the water like a frog.
A fun time.

My camp experience
The camp was exciting enough;it had
A huge lake, a big dining hall, few small cabins, a huge rural area around it, and even a waterslide I only went on once. My groupmate, friends and I did what we do at camp - slept in uncomfy beds and stayed up late,
zoomed across the flying fox, swam with eels ,cooked
delicious dampa , built sturdy/unsturdy rafts, acted stupid in our skits, ate delicious food
Having lots of fun
