Supporting local young enterprise
We are HIPCards (Hello In a Pack Of Cards), a Young Enterprise business team from Pakuranga College who have dedicated our Year 13 business project to spreading diversity and culture in schools and families around New Zealand!
We have taken ordinary playing cards and added a cultural twist, with every playing card having different greetings and cultural designs from all around the world. Our playing cards are a fun way of teaching the younger generation of Kiwi kids to be more culturally inclusive of their peers in an increasingly diverse New Zealand.
We validated our playing cards at Elim Primary School where the students loved playing with the cards and the teachers found that it is an invaluable learning resource that every school must have and integrate into the curriculum.
