Burnham School —

Burnham School is an EnviroSchool.

Our EnviroGroup leads various initiatives across the school. They are committed to modeling sustainable practices. With the support of teachers and parents our Enviro Rangers teach our children to be global citizens who are concerned about, and actively care for, our environment.

This group have a school vegetable garden, and a newly planted orchard, compost bins, a worm farm and ensure that our playground is free of rubbish. They also strongly encourage our children and parents to use reusable containers rather than plastic wrap when preparing school lunches.

Our school cares for our local environment and is involved with planting native trees at Coes Ford.
