Footnote Dance Company visit BHS

Footnote Dance Company, from Wellington, offered a Contemporary Dance Workshop to Burnside Students on Saturday February 23rd. They are the longest running Contemporary Dance Company in the country. Students learned several short phrases from the show, taught by Anita Hunziker, Taniora Motutere, Emma Cosgrave and Lee Ya-Ju

Students also experimented with creating their own choreography in the workshop. We had 25 students attend the workshop, across all year levels.

Footnote’s show was on Sunday Feb 24th at the Royal Isaac Theatre. They are currently touring their ‘Hemispheres’ performance, a three part Dance Show in collaboration with Guangdong Modern Dance Company from China.
