2022 has seen two performances presented in the Aurora this year.

Y12 Drama students presented “The Oscars” which presented famous scenes from Oscar winning movies. This show started with Gone with the Wind and ended with Chicago, exploring almost 70 years of cinematic history. With dance, song and acting used to recreate movie magic this show had something for everyone. Special mention must also go to Mr Wiltshire and his tech crew and Vicki Morris-Williamson for her costuming expertise.

DNA by British playwright Dennis Kelly was the Y13 play this year. This script explores the dynamics when a group of college students take their bullying a step too far. There is safety in numbers and when they decide to stick together and lie about what happened they end up in a complex web which changes them all forever. This was an ensemble cast and was directed by Y13 student McKenzie Salinger. This play was presented over two nights. Special thanks again goes to Mr Wiltshire and Mahgen Clarke for their technical assistance, and to Vicki Morris Williams for her costuming expertise.
