Burnside High School hosted the Christchurch site for the Global Game Jam Next in conjunction with the University of Canterbury this year which ran from July 26 to August 6

Around 60 students from more than 15 schools around Canterbury attended two workshops at the University of Canterbury and took part in the learning and design of their very own video games.

It was a huge success, with a lot of contact made with schools from around the world.
