Christian settled quickly and became fully involved in school life, joining the tennis team in term 1 and representing the school at the Canterbury Secondary School's senior tennis tournament.

He is pictured here with the Ellwood Cup for Tennis which he recently won in the Year 11 boy's singles category in the Burnside High School tennis championships.

Christian has enjoyed many school trips over his time here such as the one to Akaroa for his Year 12 French class.

He said that he has enjoyed being immersed in our New Zealand culture and hopes that his English has improved.Christian is now meeting up with his family who have traveled from Germany and together they are embarking on a tour around the North Island before heading home.
