The 2019 Gateway programme has provided some excellent work exploration for senior students.

This term the students have focused on industries such as aviation, broadcasting, early childhood education, locomotive engineering, vet nursing, hospitality, hotel management and retail.

Students work on industry-related standards and have time in work exploration. With support from local businesses, the following placements occurred: Shalenhah Witute-Earle - Warehouse Northlands, Johnny Andrews - KiwiRail,  Andrei Vidal - Sudima Airport Hotel, Carmen Zhu - Kindercare Avonhead, Rebecca Bond-Bates - Harewood Pet Doctors, and Paige Shrimpton - Canterbury Aero Club.
