2022 Year 10 Technology Fair

Samuel O'Sullivan —

For the third year the Digital Technology Department has held its annual Technology Fair

On December 1st over 100 year 10 students presented their final Digital Technology projects. The products ranged from video games, toys, animations, websites, software, engineering, electronics, and more. Students displayed their design process from planning to final outcome to their friends, whanau, and the staff in the form of a poster board. The projects were then judged on outcome, process, and originality. Like last year the incredible caliber of the projects made judging incredibly difficult even with the increased number of awards this year. A slideshow of all the projects can be found here in which all the other awards are also listed.

We were also joined by Randall Grenfell the Senior Design Workshop Technician from the University of Canterbury School of Product Design who commented "...the quality of the physical outcome and associated project development documentation was exceptional."
