Our next PTA Meeting will be held on Monday 10th of May 2021 at 7.30 pm in the staffroom.

PTA Funding for school projects. During our meeting, we will consider all funding applications and decide which of those projects will be funding this year. The PTA donations received by the school are allocated back to school activities via two funding rounds held each year. These applications are prepared by members of the school faculty on behalf of the students. As a group, the PTA review those applications and allocate the funds to those school projects which meet our funding criteria to promote and support school activities and groups. 

PTA funds come from the voluntary annual PTA donation that appears on your school invoice. The PTA does not undertake any other fundraising so we appreciate your contribution. 

We are happy that in 2020 we were able to fund 14 projects with a total of $19,160 plus GST. $17,270 of this was from parent donations and $2,020 came from the profits from the Uniform Shop.

During our AGM meeting, we will also present our performance financial report for the year 2020. 

Burnside High School PTA Uniform Shop

Carmen Nolan the Uniform Shop Coordinator has left us after six years coordinating and running the Uniform shop at BHS.

Burnside High School PTA would like to acknowledge Carmen's hard work, great coordination skills and commitment to running the Uniform shop.

She has gone above and beyond in her role as Uniform Shop Coordinator and it is much appreciated.

Jemma Nartea has taken over this challenging role and she is running the Uniform shop since last February.

PTA Executive vacant: The PTA is looking for people to take over the Treasurer and Administrator position.

We have 2 positions which will become available shortly.
