Aurora Festival 2023
An inspiring two days for our music ensembles
We are thrilled to share the success of our music ensembles at the Aurora Festival, which took place on August 31 and September 1 at The Aurora Centre. The festival was a grand gathering, attracting schools not only from Christchurch but also from as far as Nelson, creating a stage for young performers to compete and learn. The festival provided an enriching experience for all involved. Each ensemble took the stage and delivered well-prepared performances. These workshops are an invaluable experience, helping our students further improve their understanding of the music they play.
We extend our gratitude to our esteemed adjudicators:
Dr. Robert McWilliams
Vincent Hardaker
Dr. Patrick Shepherd

A special acknowledgement goes to our devoted staff members, Mr. Petch, Dr. Renaud, Mr Hood, Anne Clark and Grace Stainthorpe. Their dedication, passion, and unwavering support played a significant role in preparing our students for this extraordinary event.
Finally, congratulations to all students involved. We are immensely proud of their achievements and look forward to their future successes.
