Burnside High school had a large team compete in the Christchurch Round of the World Scholars Cup.

It was an amazing weekend of competition with outstanding performances.

Some highlights - among many - were:

Miranda Yuan 9WRIC - top junior student award across all academic subjects

Katie Horton 11WMNS -top senior student award across all academic subjects- very impressive for a Year 11 student!

Asimov Award- Haasini Mantena 12WLWI 

1st place -Top Senior Debater was Priya Bartlett 11SBSJ

Top Debate Team was Zhongheng Wu 10WRDS Minju Cho 10WJCN Benjamin Wray10WJCN 

Our top senior writer was Olivia Wang 13SRT and she combined with Ajax Guo 13SRT and Ameya Raut 13CUC to be the top Writing team.

The Champion Junior Scholar overall was Miranda Yuan.

The Burnside High School Academic Mentors Johnny Lawrey 13SRT, Devin Lin 13SRT and Aditi Goyal 13BGS along with ex student Blaithan Altenburg helped by judging the Debating.
