All Year nine and ten Burnside students had the opportunity for Career Pathway exploration at our school's Junior Careers Expo Wednesday 14th November held on site.

Exhibitors from over thirty different industries/tertiary institutions provided career information and interactive games and activities for students to experience. 

This included career areas such as Truck and Transportation driving, Hairdressing,  Hospitality , Airline Travel, Antarctic Research, and Engineering and Construction. Each area included  a variety of activities for the students to engage in, demonstrating the practicalities of the specific career on display. Some of these included practising Silver Service hospitality, dressing up in full Antarctica survival gear, and spending time in truck cabs (without the keys in the ignition!!)
